So, since last what has happened?
Well earlier this week I turned 24. In comparison to when I turned 23 I feel the performance anxiety creeping up on me.
Whenever I compare myself to people my own age I feel like I have not done anything with my life... I know it is wrong to compare myself to others but I subconciously do.

Anyway, since I had my birthday I felt like spoiling myself with some new make up products. Since I think it was last year, I have been a bit obsessed with MAC cosmetics. Quality is top notch (at least the once I've tried) and I think the price is good. I'd rather spend a bit more when I know it will end up on my face haha. So from left to right is the

- TREND FORECAST FALL 15/EYES. The palette contains the colours: calypso force/penny arcade/pavement/boys in blue/mouse/beautyberry. On the backside of the package they are described as "beauty berry creme colour base" and when I swatched them I noticed they had a quite a sheer payoff. I guess they can be used on the cheeks aswell because of the consistency.
I can not wait to play around with them though.
- LUSTRE DROPS in the shade "pink rebel" They come in three different shades I think but I took the one I thought would suit my pale skin the best. It is a lustre/liquid highlight and I've never before tried a product like this so I can not wait to start using it. I tried it out on the back of my hand and it really gives of a beautiful shimmering effect.
- MEHR a matte lipstick with a slightly more browner tone. I've used this a couple of times and got a few compliments. Simply stated it is a "my lips but better" shade. And it does not dry out my lips too much even though it is matte.
- 3 CONCEPT EYES COVER CREAM FOUNDATION. It is the very first product I have tried from this South Korean brand. I usually tend to love korean make up so that is why I did not hesitate to order it.
But unfortunately the shade is too dark (#natural ivory) and because I am not used to wear full cover make up it sits heavy on my skin..
The formula is silicon based and it dries matte. SPF30 and PA++( though I do not know what this stands for)
- 217 BLENDING BRUSH. I have been out and about for a new eyeshadow brush for a few months now and finally decided on a MAC one. Never had one in my posession and never once tried one. This is supposedly one of their most popular brushes.
